Winter League 2024/25
The South Yorkshire Winter League Competition is a county competition. The competition is organised by South Yorkshire County Netball Association (SYCNA) to enable clubs to compete against each other to determine a county winner. The purpose of competition is to provide competition, whilst encouraging participation in netball through an open, fair, progressive, and transparent league structure.
The South Yorkshire winter league is open to all clubs that are members of England Netball (via South Yorkshire County) for the 2024/25 season.

Costs
Cost per team per game is £30.00
Championship - £540 for the season (based on 18 games)
League One - £540 for the season (based on 18 games)
League Two - £480 for the season (based on 16 games)
League Three - £420 for the season (based on 14 games)
League Four - £420 for the season (based on 14 games)
Entry Fee - £50.00 (this will be returned at the end of the season - any court fees due to fixture cancellations)

These regulations must be followed by all teams, players, officials, spectators, and administrators involved in the management, administration, and operation of the South Yorkshire Winter League.

Fixtures
The start time for each match is as detailed in the fixtures schedule and are 6pm / 7pm / 8pm / 9pm.
All games should be started within 5 minutes of the allocated start time.
Teams should warm up in the area next to the courts and be ready to take to the court as soon as the courts become available.

Results Card
All teams in the league will be required to complete and submit a Results Card following completion of their match.
The Results Card outlines the final score as well as the players who have taken to the court during the game

All teams will be held responsible for the behaviour, demeanour and actions of their Players, Team Officials, and spectators.
Pool Players
All pool players MUST be a member of England Netball and SYCNA as a personal adult/junior member participant, having paid the full membership fee due and received confirmation of their membership in advance of submitting the Pool Player Registration Sheet.
The completed Pool Player registration sheet must be lodged with the competitions group (southyorkshirenetball@gmail.com) by 4.00pm on the day of the match taking place.
